You can also go to Hamura's Saimin Stand in the Lihue & Environs neighborhood. Plantation Gardens Restaurant, found in the Poipu Resort area, is also Hawaiian food. As well, Mermaid's Café in the Coconut Coast, and The Beach House in The Poipu Resort Area, and Tip Top Café, in the Lihue & Environs area.

If you are looking for Eclectic food, you have several options. These include Aroma, in Lihue & Environs and Roy's Poipu Bar & Grill in the Poipu Resort Area.

For American Fare – regular American food, burgers, or steaks and chops, you can find food at many different restaurants. Vegetarians will also have their choices of foods, and can eat at Blossoming Lotus in The Coconut Coast or Hanapepe Café in Western Kauai. There is Chinese food found at Wong's Restaurant in Western Kauai, Kauai Chop Suey in Lihue & Environs, and Kako's, also in Lihue & Environs.

If you are looking for pizza, you can find it at Kilauea Bakery & Pau Hana Pizza, on the North Shore, or Brick Oven Pizza in the Poipu Resort Area. You can also get Japanese food in Kauai, at Genki Sushi, in Lihue & Environs, or Sushi & Blues, on the North Shore.

If you are looking for Mexican food, there are several places where you might eat. These include The Whole Enchilada, on The Coconut Coast, Norberto's El Café, on the Coconut Coast and Neide's Salsa and Samba on the North Shore.

Mediterranean food can be found at Casa Blanca at Kiahuna, in The Poipu Resort Area. Also, Italian food can be found at Dondero's, in The Poipu Resort Area.

If you are looking for seafood, there are plenty of places to eat. Hanalei Dophin Restaurant & Fish Market is a great place to go, located on The North Shore.

All in all, there are about 75 restaurants on Kauai, and you can choose from them on any night of the week. The food ranges from very affordable to very expensive, so be sure that you scope out the menu before you decide you would like to eat there.
